Katie started her leisure career working for the Shropshire cricket board where she took a lead role in developing and delivering a nationally-renowned Programme of women and girls’ cricket development. Katie has led the last three years’ work on this programme, establishing its growth and seeing participation by women and girls rise significantly across the county. She also worked with clubs across the county to develop their playing offers and facilities to best suit their membership.

Katie is experienced in strategic planning and facility development. She has experience of undertaking feasibility work undertaking and developing Playing Pitch and Built Facility assessments and strategies.

She retains an active role in her local cricket club where she both plays and coaches the girls’ teams.
