George Sutcliffe
Principal Consultant
Prior to joining Strategic Leisure Limited, George worked in various sports development and marketing roles within the higher education sector. During that time he was also a football coach for a number of years: the rewarding yet challenging nature of grassroots sports clubs developed both his professional and interpersonal skills, in addition to imparting lessons about the importance of making physical activity facilities available to all.
At Strategic Leisure he has developed a wide-ranging set of skills, with a focus upon feasibility, options appraisals, facility development, work within the higher education sector and business planning for the SLL team.
Although George played a lot of different sports growing up, golf has been his focus over the last few years. During the warmer months you can generally find him at his local club, or at one of the many of the excellent courses we have in the North West.
