13.06.07: Strategic Leisure Ireland wins Contract with
Dungarvan Town Council, Co Waterford

Strategic Leisure Ireland has secured the contract with Dungarvan Town Council in Co. Waterford for the development of a Sports and Leisure Facilities Feasibility Study and Business Plan. The project is managed by Jim Sanderson, Associate Director Ireland.

The aim of the project is to assess the market and financial viability of existing and any new provision of sports and leisure facilities in order to develop a comprehensive indoor and outdoor sports facilities strategy for Dungarvan. This will be based on a robust assessment of need, use, accessibility and the quality and quantity of existing provision. A Business Plan will set out the optimum methods for delivery and management.

Our success in securing this project follows a similarly successful period of establishment of our Ireland Division in November 2005. Our work in Ireland has concentrated to date on Northern Ireland, and we have recently opened new office premises in Belfast from which all of our Ireland projects will be managed.
