14.05.07: SLL to develop PPG17 for Coventry City Council

Strategic Leisure have recently been appointed to undertake a comprehensive ‘Local Needs’ assessment of open space, outdoor sport and recreation for the Coventry City Council. The assessment will follow PPG17 guidance and will provide the evidence base to guide future planning policy through the establishment of new standards of provision.

The findings will support the City Council in the development of its local Development Framework (LOF). The assessment will consider the quality, quantity and accessibility of provision to ensure future facilities are in the right place at the right time to meet local needs.
