A comprehensive assessment of Greenspace to establish new standards of provision based on PPG 17 guidance. The extensive assessment quantified sites using the latest GIS digital mapping techniques and rated the county’s Greenspace against national; and best practice models including Green Flag. The audit of play provision constituted to the development of a play improvement programme. The assessment supported the Council in the development framework and local area agreements.
